Overview | This case study, written by Louise Cohen at Royal Academy of Arts, is from Culture24’s Let’s Get Real action research program. It focuses on using Twitter to share interactive content and spark conversation and debate with users. The aim was to look at how to increase social media engagement with real-time activity. The experiment found that joining in with relevant hashtags worked well, whereas tweeting a number of articles on a single topic was less successful. The importance of overlapping with users’ interests and making time for two-way conversation were important findings. |
